Destination Christmas is back for 2022 and this year it's even bigger and better…
Destination Harrogate is bringing back Harrogate Christmas Fayre from 2 to 11 December with a great variety of stalls to browse for gifts, decorations and festive foodie treats.
The traditional Christmas market takes place in Harrogate town centre and will be open from 10am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
It's the perfect place to meet up with friends and family, take the kids for a special treat, or enjoy some Christmas shopping, with an eclectic mix of enticing stalls from 50 traders from across Yorkshire and beyond.
All new for 2022, is Harrogate Ice Rink. The outdoor ice skating rink is located at Crescent Gardens and offers a variety of sessions including public sessions, parent and toddler-friendly sessions, school sessions, relaxed sessions, private hires and even 'Learn to Skate' lessons. All sessions must be booked in advance.
An après ski bar offering seasonal treats and refreshments and a traditional carousel, together with children's fairground rides, add to the festive attractions in Crescent Gardens. While in the heart of Harrogate, a giant 32m Ferris wheel will offer you spectacular views of the surrounding area, whether you're taking to the skies in daytime or after dark. The free Candy Cane Express is also back for 2022, to transport you around Harrogate town centre, while the market is on with Father Christmas and his elves rumoured to be dropping in from the North Pole, too.
If that wasn't enough, Little Bird Made artisan market is taking up residence in Valley Gardens for the first two weekends in December (3 to 4 December and 10 to 11 December) with jewellery, crafts and gifts from local traders.
An amazing array of Christmas activities and experiences are taking place throughout the Harrogate district this festive season… You'll find a great guide to what's happening on the Visit Harrogate website.
