On Tuesday night (18th October 2022) BBC2 invited us all into the daily life of Rob Burrow and his wonderful family. It was an emotional documentary showcasing just how MND affects not just those diagnosed, but all the families too in a film about love, support and determination. The true reality of living with motor neurone disease.
Rob’s story has helped raise awareness of MND and why more needs to be done to help people living with the condition and their families – a huge factor in us choosing MND Association as our chosen charity for 2022. We think you will agree after seeing Rob himself at the event, how inspirational and brave he is and the amazing work he does, whilst fighting the disease himself.
We were delighted to have played a small part in helping him raise awareness and money for this well-deserved charity at the event and overwhelmed to have been featured on Tuesday. Honoring Rob and as shown in the documentary, his children, will be something we will hold close to our hearts.

The Awards are searching for those that demonstrate that through adversity and courage, light can shine through in so many different ways. They may have saved lives or changed lives through their own story or highlighted a local charity by fundraising. Some may have overcome adversity, whilst others are just the best in their field.
