New month, more markets for Little Bird Made

The start of a new month means Little Bird is gearing up for a busy weekend of artisan markets with 2 of their largest monthly markets in Knaresborough and Harrogate.

The knaresborough market takes place on Saturday in the town's Castle grounds with visitors treated to not only the amazing array of goods on offer at the market but also the opportunity to walk around the Castle grounds and see the magnificent view over the River Nidd. On Sunday the location will be in the beautiful Valley Gardens, Harrogate, which again will be packed full of stalls under the Sun Colonnade with the beautiful park and all its attractions and town centre all within a short walk.

Both markets will be packed full of everything you can imagine at an artisan market, from crafts, art and photography to toys, clothing and accessories. Not forgetting everything to decorate or fragrance your home or pamper yourself with organic skin and body care. Along with all of these, there will also be lots of tempting cakes, bakes, cheese, preserves, drinks, local produce and our tasty street food vendors with their hot and cold drinks and food options for brunch or lunch as you browse the stalls.

The Yorkshire Choice Awards is an annual event that recognises all the heroes and heroines who make the communities of Yorkshire shine bright. They also aim to raise awareness of all the inspirational local people, charities and independent businesses who are nominated and give them the exposure many of them deserve while raising money for local charities.

Little Bird Made is honoured to be nominated in the Yorkshire Choice Awards for 2023, for the categories of Independent Business of the Year and managing director, Jackie Crozier in the Business Women of the Year category.

Little Bird has come such a long way from the first market Jackie held in Ripon 5 years ago to the reputable artisan market company it is today. Jackie has worked tirelessly to build an impressive portfolio of markets across the Yorkshire area in some of the most beautiful locations that attract up to 15,000 visitors each week and to deliver larger scale 5-day events in partnership with Harewood House.

The nominations are well deserved and they are not just for the business or Jackie personally but each vote is also a vote for all the traders who come along each week and make the markets the success they are and also for the regular visitors who support the markets and come out in all weathers to support us each week, these nominations are for all of you as well.

Voting for the Awards is still open and votes can be cast by visiting: www.yorkshirechoiceawards.co.uk/votehere and if you would like to show your support for Little Bird along with all the other amazing nominations in each category, then please vote:
