The June issue of the Handpicked Local E-Magazine has landed - and honestly, it might be our most gloriously random one yet.
This month, we’ve mixed home, garden, business, food, family and a bit of driveway drama into one big, beautiful, slightly eccentric cocktail of local inspiration. Think of it as your go-to guide for living well - without needing a mansion, a Michelin star, or the patience of a saint.
Here’s a little taster of what’s inside:

Home, Car & Garden
Turns out, you don’t need five bedrooms and a walk-in pantry to pull off great interior design. We’re talking style that works in real homes, from rented terraces to country cottages. Add to that a bit of garden goodness and a car that’s had more TLC than your last houseplant, and you’re golden. Yes, we did feature a very cool car makeover. Yes, you will want to do it yourself.
Business
Mastering the art of saying yes without later muttering “why did I agree to that?” is no small feat - but we’ve got some solid advice to help you stay open to opportunity without drowning in obligation. Spoiler: boundaries are your friend.

Food & Drink
Is it just us, or do salads often feel like punishment for something you didn’t do? We’re changing the narrative with recipes that are fresh, filling, and just a little bit smug (in a good way). This is salad that fights back - with roasted bits and punchy dressings and actual flavour.
Family
You know when a dad joke is so bad it somehow loops back round to being excellent? We’ve collected a few of those. In fact, we’re calling it the Dad Joke Hall of Fame. It’s terrible. It’s brilliant. It might even make you laugh. Maybe.

Plus lots more
So whether you're lounging in the garden, hiding in the kitchen, or pretending to work while sneakily reading on your phone, this issue is here to keep you company - and maybe even inspire a few changes along the way.
Thanks for being part of our brilliantly bonkers little community.
