Facilities Manager (Part-Time) Wanted

Harrogate & District Community Action is looking for a Facilities Manager (part-time) at Harrogate Community House.

Bring your property management skills to our small and busy local charity team who are dedicated to supporting community action and volunteering across the Harrogate District. This is an exciting opportunity to help HADCA support a wide range of charities by ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our much loved Harrogate Community House, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. We seek a proactive facilities manager with excellent communication skills and previous experience of managing property, not just bricks and mortar but also the other services and resources we need to successfully run our charity, including equipment and contracts.

You will be focussed on ensuring we provide a safe and welcoming environment for our tenants and visitors and skilful in working with people from all walks of life. You will need to be highly organised, with flexibility and adaptability required to provide a 1st class service to our staff, tenants and visitors. This will vary from negotiating with contractors & checking spreadsheets through to sorting out a practical issue for a meeting room customer and occasional washing up! Up to 18 hrs per week to start ASAP Closing date: 9am 20 September 2022.
