Double market weekend for Little Bird

Little Bird Made is getting ready for a big weekend ahead, with double markets in Knaresborough and Harrogate. Double markets always mean twice the chance to come along and meet all our wonderful traders and stock up on your favourite products.

Jackie Crozier, Little Bird Managing Director said, “This is always a busy weekend for Little Bird staff and traders as two of our biggest markets kick start the month ahead. Both locations are so iconic within each town, and it is always a pleasure to set up the market within them and promote everything they have to offer. Little Bird's ethos is to encourage people back into town centres, to shop local and support small independent businesses. We really appreciate our partnerships with all the local Councils and venues to deliver our markets in some of Yorkshire's best locations.”

The markets this weekend are set in two of the most scenic locations with lots of activities and places to visit within a short walk from each venue. In Knaresborough, the market is located within the Castle Grounds and offers spectacular views over the town and River Nidd. On the to-do list is a walk around the Castle and grounds, a visit to the Courtroom Museum before heading into town for the shops, cafes and restaurants.

In Harrogate, the market is located in the famous 17-acre park, Valley Gardens and can be found under the Sun Colonnade. Visitors don’t even need to leave the park to enjoy a great day out with beautiful walks, Japanese Garden, a children’s adventure playground, café and lots more. Families and dog walkers can enjoy a great day out alongside their visit to the market.

Both markets will be packed full of stalls with everything you need available in the one place. From home wear, skin and body care, candles and fragrances, photos and pieces of art inspired by Yorkshire landmarks to crafts and clothing. Not forgetting all the delicious cakes, bakes, cheese, preserves and alcoholic drinks to take home or the tempting hot and cold food and drinks from our street food vendors to keep you fed and hydrated as you wander around the stalls.

• Saturday 4th March, 10am – 3pm, Castle Yard, Knaresborough HG5 8AS

• Sunday 5th March, 10am – 3pm, Valley Gardens, Valley Drive, Harrogate HG1 2SZ
