This is the post that I have always dreaded having to post.
As a mark of respect to HRH Queen Elizabeth II and in partnership with the councils that we operate with, we will not be going ahead with this weekend's markets.
We know that so many of you were looking forward to both trading and visiting at our markets this weekend in both Easingwold and Wetherby.
An email has been sent to each of our traders. Please help us to get the word out, please share this post.
May we be united in our grief and thank you as always for your support.

With Litte Bird Made
Little Bird Made will be heading to Easingwold and Wetherby this weekend to hold their monthly artisan market in the towns. Little Bird Made hold artisan markets throughout the Yorkshire area and have a list of regular locations and additional pop-up venues at specific times of year. The markets have some of the finest artists, bakers, creators, designers, makers and small businesses Yorkshire has to offer. If you are looking to treat yourself or need a gift for a family member or friend, then there will be a wealth of jewellery stalls there over the weekend who all design and make their own items, so each piece is unique.
Some of those attending this weekend are Origin who specialises in crystals and holistic wellbeing and jewellery in your favourite crystals, Cheeky Budgie Design with their polymer clay earrings in bright designs for all seasons, Manth Jewellery who design unisex pieces in 100% recycled Sterling Silver and 9Ct Gold, Sara’s Sea Glass Odyssey who creates items using sea glass collected from beaches around the North East of England, Curly Nook Jewellery with unique pieces created using jump rings from chain maile, resin, sea glass and homegrown flowers, Silver Fox Jewellery with ecco jewellery created from recycled Silver and gold, A Touch of Glass by Emily who creates items inspired by coastal and country living using natural beach resources and Taylor Jewellery with colourful handcrafted pieces to compliment any outfit.
They will also be joined by the usual mix of stalls selling all your favourite goods from candles to photography, skin care to homeware, crafts to metal work and not forgetting the food vendors with hot and cold snacks and lots of sweet treats to keep hunger at bay while you browse the stalls or to take home and enjoy later.
Applications are open for September – December markets, so if you have a small business and would be interested in joining Little Bird traders at some of the most beautiful locations and towns in Yorkshire. This weekend's markets will take place in the following locations:
Saturday 10th September, 9am – 2pm, Market Place, Easingwold YO61 3AA
Sunday 11th September, 10am – 3pm, Market Place Wetherby LS22 6NE
All our markets are an enjoyable day out for all the family even your pets. They are outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
