Wetherby Town Council is looking for a Market Supervisor to oversee our vibrant Thursday market—a tradition dating back to 1240!

​

This permanent, part-time role (8 hours per week) is perfect for someone with great people skills, a practical mindset and who can respond to whatever the weather (or market) throws at them! You’ll be ensuring the smooth operation of the market, supporting traders, managing traffic and even assisting with some of Wetherby’s much-loved community events throughout the year.

• Salary: £12.85 per hour (plus pension & leave benefits)Salary

• Shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm (alternating weekly)

The Governors of Deighton Gates Primary School are looking to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to work in our busy school office and support the School Business Manager.

 

We are looking for a candidate to work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility of hours. Minimum of 20 hours a week. Term time only.

 

In liaison with the Business Manager, the purpose of this role is to be responsible for ensuring delivery of a high quality and efficient administration service within the school. The successful candidate will be well organised, reliable, friendly and an excellent communicator.

 

Main areas of the role include:

 

• To produce and maintain accurate records, using Microsoft programmes, SIMS and other IT packages.

• Managing the payments of school meals, activities and school trips.

• Monitoring stock supplies

• Providing admin support for Senior Leadership team, Teachers and Friends of Deighton Gates.

We'll always pay you on time (weekly payments) and you'll be working under the brand of an established local business so can be sure you're looked after.

We are looking for someone with cleaning skills, initiative and a positive attitude.

You can work up to 16 hours a week with us on this self employed option. If you would like more hours we can discuss an employed option instead.
